I'd love to make you some furniture. I might make you a table, but I'm not going to make you chairs. If you want a bookshelf, you should go to Ikea— they're way cheaper, and they're great at making square and rectangular shaped things.

What I really want to do is make some fun little project that solves some weird problem you've got. Maybe you need a corner shelf, but your corner isn't actually 90 degrees (none of them are).

Maybe you want your plants to sit a little higher in your planter, like my mom did. And even though really it would be easier to just fill it with gravel, maybe you're like my mom and you don't want to have to move a 60 pound planter twice a year.

Maybe your toilet lid broke (how did you break your toilet lid?) and you want a new sycamore toilet lid:

Does your kid collect feathers?

Maybe you just want a silly elephant.

If you want any of that, here's what we'll do. Send me a note and we'll get chatting. If the project seems fun and do-able, we'll do it. I'll tell you how much the wood costs, and you'll pay for the wood. The rest, we'll just have to figure it out.
